Foreign performance & mechanical collection on the composition. Set territory to Worldwide excl. US if your US PRO (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, or GMR) + The MLC already cover the US, to avoid double-collection conflicts.

Worldwide performance royalties on the master — terrestrial radio, TV, venues. The US doesn't pay these, so SoundExchange never collects them. Eligibility depends on country of fixation and performer nationality.

The 5% of SoundExchange's pool reserved for non-featured performers — session players and background vocalists. List only non-featured personnel; featured artists are paid through SoundExchange directly. Skip if the record is just the artist plus programmed production.

Claims revenue on every UGC use — on the master (via your distributor) and the composition (via your publishing admin). Set the scope to match which asset you're claiming. Don't claim a side someone else already administers, or you'll trip a Content ID conflict.

Group registration of musical works (songs) on one album — up to 20 per filing, same claimant, at least one common author. This block preps and tracks the filing; you submit it through the Copyright Office portal (eCO/ECS) with audio deposit copies. A separate filing covers the masters.
